Merry Christmas to you if you celebrate! I’ve spent the past couple of days on the couch after a lot of Christmas preparations, and I’ve introduced Will to the wonders that is Desperate Housewives. I hope you’ve managed to take some time to relax and be with loved ones!
Santa Hat Mousse Cakes I took this class from Molly J Wilk to make the most beautiful raspberry and coconut mousse cakes! There are a few steps to make them but you can make them ahead of time which is great. Plus, this dessert felt so refreshing after a big Christmas dinner.
Lake Champlain Chocolates I got chocolates from Lake Champlain Chocolates, a chocolate company from Vermont, in my Christmas stocking because I’m a woman in her 30s who still gets a Christmas stocking. The bag I got was a mixture of maple, peanut butter and caramel! It will be tough to portion these out because they’re so delicious.
Fieldwork I just started this memoir by Iliana Regan, so I don’t have too much to say yet. If you don’t know Iliana Regan, she is a Michelin-star chef who runs the Milkweed Inn in Michigan. Her second book Fieldwork delves deep into how foraging has played a role in her life.
